Max Payne movie

Apparantly plans for a movie based on the 3d person shooter Max Payne are in an advanced stage, and guess what; Uwe Boll is NOT directing! Given the scriptwriters don’t screw it up, we might actually have a movie worth something here for a change. The roll of Max himself went to Mark Wahlberg.
Given some patching up he could look like him I’d say. Normally I don’t really like 3d person shooters ever since Tomb Raider left my recycle bin, but the storyline in Max Payne was so covered in awesome dialog that you’d play through the game just to see the next cutscene. Picture Tarantino making a film noir and you got a Max Payne script. I’m looking forward to this one!
